Notifications
Open system Settings, find Söz, and choose Notifications to allow or disable reminders. Turning reminders off does not affect lessons or saved progress.
Photo access
Söz asks for add-only photo access when you choose to save a word card. You can review or revoke that permission in system Settings. Söz does not browse your photo library.
Local learning data
Deleting Söz removes its local app data from that device. Before deleting, remember that progress which has not synced may not be recoverable.
iCloud learning backup
If iCloud sync is available, key learning data may remain in your private iCloud storage after the app is deleted. You can disable iCloud access for Söz and use Apple’s available iCloud storage controls to remove app data. Setting names vary by operating system version.
Analytics and word reports
Söz uses Mixpanel and TelemetryDeck for anonymized product analytics, purchase-flow outcomes, limited diagnostic events, and the structured word-report action. It does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking. The app includes an analytics toggle in Settings under Privacy; turning it off stops these events. Purchases and Pro status
Apple manages App Store purchases, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds. Söz uses StoreKit to check whether Pro access is active and may cache that status locally so paid features unlock quickly. Use Restore Purchases in the app if access does not appear on a device.
No account to delete
Söz does not create a user account, so there is no account deletion request or web login. We generally cannot identify device-only or private iCloud data remotely.
